Every year, about 700,000 women become widowed. This occurs at all ages and stages of their life journey. These women suffer more than just financial hardship—the emotional turmoil requires women to take the time and seek the support needed to recover through their grief.
At Hearts Connecting grief recovery department for Muslim Widows and Women of Faith Support Group, we know from personal experience how crucial a sense of sisterhood and community is to the grief recovery process.
JACC is a State-funded program that provides a broad array of in-home and community-based services to individuals aged 60 and older who meet clinical eligibility for nursing home level of care and who desire to remain in their homes within the community. The JACC program is designed with the goal of diverting or delaying the placement of the individual in a nursing facility. JACC aims to strengthen participants' networks of informal caregivers and to maximize autonomy by providing participants with the opportunity to direct their own care, including hiring their own providers, if desired.
Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disorder that slowly destroys memory, skills, and eventually, the ability to carry out the simplest tasks. In most people ( but not all with the disease), the late-onset type symptoms first appear in their middle 60's. Also, it is the most common cause of dementia among older adults.
Nevertheless, (6) areas to consider that might help are the following:
In conclusion, Alzheimer's has been referred to as the "Silent Epidemic".

My personal thoughts on strokes are that some people who never had a stroke think that only “high blood” pressure cause strokes, but that is not true. I found out the hard way that high cholesterol and pre-diabetic together can cause a stroke... even if it’s a warning stroke. It is called by many names: minor, mini, small or a TIA stroke. But in medical terms the proper name is a “Ischemic Stroke”. To explain it more from my experience and research, blood carries oxygen to all areas of your body. A Stroke happens when your blood does not flow to your brain like normal. If this happens, your brain will not get the oxygen it needs and brain tissue will die. This is an emergency. Problems (symptoms) of a stroke usually happens suddenly. You may notice them when you wake up. They can include:
- Loss of feeling or weakness on one side of the body (face, arm, leg).
- High blood pressure.
- High cholesterol.
- Feeling confused.
- Trouble talking or understanding.
- Trouble seeing.
- Trouble walking.
- Feeling dizzy.
- Loss of balance or coordination.
- Severe headache without a cause.
- Trouble reading or writing.
RISK FACTORS
- Diabetes.
- High blood pressure.
- High cholesterol.
- Heart disease.
- Having a buildup of fatty deposits in the blood vessels.
- Having an abnormal heart rhythm (atrial fibrillation).
- Being very overweight (obese).
- Smoking.
- Taking birth control pills, especially if you smoke.
- Not being active.
- Having a diet high in fats, salt and calories.
- Drinking too much alcohol
- Using illegal drugs.

Road To
A Better Standard Of Living
INTRODUCTION
This paper will be a guide to improving your overall health condition. I will cover topics about some problems I see that are caused from our favorite foods and about the human body’s biological clock.
Problems
High Blood Pressure, ED, Cancer, Diabetes, COVID, Constipation, Obesity, etc. We have truly let ourselves go. We all know how we should be eating but we don’t do it. Why? Is it a food obsession? Food Addiction? “Everyone does eventually” We must fix our attitudes about our health.
Eating In Rhythm (Dr. Sebi)
5AM- 11AM
When we wake up, we should not eat solid foods for breakfast. Most of the food that is so called “breakfast food” is eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, French toast, sausage, potatoes, etc. All of these foods are too hard for the stomach to break down so early in the day. From 7AM to 11AM, your body is still finishing its detox process. By consuming these solid foods so early will put a strain on the system and clog the detox process. This is the reason why we go through something called the “itis”. As soon as we eat a big breakfast and drink some orange juice, we’re tired and sluggish. We should be eating foods that give us energy, not take away our energy. Therefore, at this time period we should consumer fruits, herbs, and water to help the body flush and clean out waste.
12PM - 3PM
By this time, vegetables should be on the list. At noon, consuming vegetables will replenish the cells and feed the body minerals, chlorophyll, melanin, and carbon. These body minerals are all associated with keeping the body young and healthy; which results in us feeling great.
3PM - 8PM
In the evening more solid foods can be eaten.
Cut down on fried foods, meat, & for God sake SUGAR!
Conclusion
This may be a guide for some and a strong reminder for others. I get that we are all not perfect, but when we know better we must do better. We may live different lifestyles. A person who is a bodybuilder will not need to adhere to this as much as someone who has a career that involves no physical moving.

From doing research on magnesium, I discovered magnesium is a very important mineral in the body, how we feel and function every day--yet it's also the second most common nutrient deficiency behind vitamin D says nutrition expert Samantha Mckinney, RD at Lifetime Magnesium. She explained how magnesium plays an essential role in supporting your muscles, nerves, energy levels and even your brain functions. It even helps regulates blood glucose and controls blood pressure. I personal experience these facts. I also found in my research that it keeps you relax and calm which helps you sleep better. There are different types of magnesium to accommodate all of these benefits that are mentioned. For me it mainly energized me. I call it the unsung hero in the mineral world. I experience the cramps in my legs disappeared when I started taking magnesium. I prefer the capsules than the tablets. But see what works for you. Please check with your doctor for how much mg you should buy and consume.
