She also serves on the Newark Municipal Health Committee, Board member of Islamic Community Health Collaborative and former member of Bloomfield College Pre-Chiropractic Advisory Committee. A frequent contributor to Ask The Doctor Series on health issues particularly Gun Violence A Public Health Crisis (ICHC). She is a Certified NJ Department of Corrections Mentor to incarcerated woman. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Tony Al-Amin graduated from Weequahic High School, attended Seton Hall University, Rutgers University, and Kean University. He earned the degree of doctor of medicine from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, New Jersey, currently named Rutgers/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Al-Amin completed internship in internal medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Temple University Hospital located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He is the founder and medical director of Premier Pain Management & Sports Rehab Physicians; a comprehensive sports injury rehabilitation and interventional pain management clinic located in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition, Dr. Al-Amin is the site physician for numerous combat sporting events (boxing, MMA, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and wrestling) and he is one of several team physicians for The United States National and Olympic Boxing Teams.

Robert L. Johnson, MD, FAAP is The Sharon and Joseph L. Muscarelle Endowed Dean, Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. His clinical expertise and research focuses on adolescent physical and mental health, adolescent HIV, adolescent violence, adolescent sexuality, health equity and family strengthening.
Dr. Kafilat Adewunmi is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She received her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She further gained practical experience by completing a residency in family medicine at Rowan University.
A qualified family physician, Dr. Adewunmi looks after the people of Union, NJ. She is available for examinations and consultations at VAMA Medical Health Center. She manages a host of medical concerns, including ear infections, warts, sinus problems, sore throat, and urinary tract infections.
